Let me start by thanking everyone for the new watches and favourites on my deviations during my unexpected hiatus. Seriously, you guys flatter me. And as such, I feel it necessary that my fans and friends get an adequate explanation for my impromptu absence.

I did not abandon you. Rather, the lot of you are near-constantly in my thoughts and, oh, how guilt abounds. Sad to say, however, that I haven’t had much time to myself recently because the Honor Program I joined this year is getting a little… demanding. Projects to do, tests to study for, books to annotate, all while trying to complete community service hours as well! Suffice to say, I’m stressed.

Because of this suffocating workload, I’ve actually neglected photoshop at large and my fanart production has slowed to a crawl (though inspiration is another story entirely). But let me repeat: I did not abandon you, nor have I abandoned DeviantArt. It’s simply been too inconvenient and too low on my priorities to scan, create, or upload art to my fanart account. However, sharkbread has benefitted from the demands of IB Art, and that will be updated much more often now that I’m into the swing of things. The not-so-subtle message being: watch that account as well.

The ETA of the Renaissance of Hikariforce is murky at this point, fellow deviants, but be sure to know that promise is always on the horizon. As a great villain once said, “The night is darkest before the dawn”. Expect that of Hikariforce, friends. Though it doesn’t make a lot of sense scientifically. What’s up, Harvey?
